We are proud to be releasing a very unique album by the Neapolitan group, 'E Zezi' called 'Pumarolla Black'. Eccentric, outraged and outrageous, this Neapolitan socio-political, musical cult-band has been spreading its working class message to Italy and France for twenty-one years. Growing out of the factories of the Italian auto industry, E Zezi has planted firm and growing roots in lower-class culture. Musically grounded in established Italian folk traditions, E Zezi is an amalgam of political opinion, folk music, and expressionism whose raw, primal rhythms and songs aim straight at the heart and soul. E Zezi performs both on traditional instruments, and instruments of their own invention. Once you've sampled E Zezi's working class reality, you'll never forget it!
