The great Romanian prodigy Damian Draghici redefines the art of the panpipe in his first American CD.
Born into an enormously talented musical family whose panpipe roots date from the last century, young gypsy Damian Draghici is already being seen as foremost exponent of his instrument in the world today. Joined here by renowned Turkish multi-instrumentalist Omar Faruk and world percussionist and producer Randy Crafton, Draghici plays traditional Romanian Gypsy, Greek and Turkish tunes in stunning arrangements with incomparable facility.
